I recently reached 10,000 followers on Twitter. I know that’s nothing compared to many people, but to me it’s another milestone, another step in the journey.

I admit reaching 10,000 makes me happy, and while it can be a sign that people are interested in what I have to say, the fact is it really has nothing to do with me.

I’m a faceless avatar. An anon. I don’t offer people trading advice. I’m not a founder, or even a developer. I’m just someone selling a vision, a vision that I believe is worth striving for.

But I also understand that it isn’t just going to be handed to us. This is why I need others to see what I see. I need to make them want what I want. I’m not just trying to build a following for the sake of it, I’m looking for people who want to help, to contribute.

Because the goal here isn’t to become just another rich guy. The ultimate goal is to attain true wealth, and that can’t be achieved without true freedom.

I don’t want to live in a world where my money only buys my freedom, I want to live in a world where freedom is no longer something that needs to be bought at all.

This is why I support the eCash project. Because I believe it can lead to the kind of world where people who are honest, and hard working, can be free to live the kind of life they deserve.

I believe this can be possible because XEC is not just some token that was created out of thin air. This isn’t vaporware. It’s not fool’s gold being sold as some magical elixir. It’s a continuation of the Bitcoin project started by Satoshi, and to me, it represents a potential solution to one of the most important problems you can be working on in the world today. A new form of money can be a kind of answer to what’s known as the economic calculation problem. Money that can free us from central planners and authoritarian states, and enable us to have an open and free market the likes of which the world has never seen before.

10,000 is nothing, but it’s a beginning, and you can’t get anywhere without taking that first step.
