“Never trust anyone who doesn’t annoy you from time to time, because it means they only tell you what you want to hear.” – Naval Ravikant (according to Amaury Séchet)
For the last four years, I’ve been a huge eCash fan, and one of its biggest cheerleaders. I’ve invested my money, my time, my reputation, and not to mention plenty of emotional energy into supporting XEC.
So I suppose it’s inevitable for there to be times of disappointment, or even downright frustration, when it comes to my feelings about the project. Unfortunately, this happens to be one of those times.
(Please note the default price is now 1000 XEC to access, or ~$0.02)

This “new ” point of view is a healthy feeling in my opinion, it shows that you are not a fan who just believes in a fantasy, and sometimes we have the right to be disapointed and express it with the right words as you are doing here. Closer you are to your goal, harder it is.
I never expected that we would experienced this bad scenario, but now I believe the rewards will be even greater as we hoped ⚖️
Your text is an honest reflection and very important for any serious community. You make it clear that you believe in the eCash project, but you also want to be truthful about recent experiences that have not been so good. That’s not being negative – it’s having respect for the project, the people involved and the ambitious goals they all have in common.
You’re not abandoning eCash or selling your XECs. On the contrary, you’re just changing your attitude: instead of just being a fan, you want to be able to question, point out flaws and demand improvements. This shows maturity and commitment.
