“give and it shall be given to you”.
Some believe this to be not so. But I think that might be the case of some because of the manner in which their giving is done. It’s wrongly done in 2 major ways.
– some give solely with the intent to recieve, treating giving as an investment. With this mindset they soil the whole beauty of giving.
– other’s think giving is input in input out. They expect a direct exchange, like give $ you receive $. But giving doesn’t work that way. You don’t determine the manner, form, timing or even world you’ll receive in.
I believe If you give out of love, be it love for people, or of a cause, in as much as it’s done out of love and not out of compulsion or greed or for the love of honor, you’ll never lose.
I’m not superstitious but I think the goodwill and blessings of people especially when their heart is merry or moved to merriment by reason of recieving doesn’t just go to oblivion.
And any that’s not accounted to you in this life would be accounted to you in the world to come. If you’re lucky it runs down to the progeny.

I like the idea of one’s goodwill running down to the progeny =)
