All I want to do is sell content. Behind the paywall is a song. It’s instrumental in case you aren’t a native English speaker. There’s nothing really special about the song, except that I like it, and I can still remember how I first ended up hearing it.
Also behind the paywall is a photo I took last week during my commute home. This is some graffiti art I always pass by on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles heading south. The characters can be seen in many places along the freeway, but this one is the most intriguing. 1000 XEC to listen and to look.
🔥 12 unlocks and counting...
You didnt said how you first ended up hearing that song? 😊
Cain keeps proving how versatile paybutton can be. It goes beyond solely writing articles. If you can’t write an article, you could introduce people to new music and artists or a weekly curated playlist. one time payment podcast, or behind the scenes photos etc. You can start a content introduction blog where you source for the most interesting articles, stories, controversial takes etc online and share it, people pay for the time spent finding the articles. Basically you acting as a filter for the excessive noise online. Of your success depends on exposing people to the Crème de la crème, and hidden gems.( I don’t know if this is legal though lol). But I know, If you good at it, an exciting opportunity arises, people might pay you to introduce them/their art to your audience.
The point is, it’s not all about articles. This can be more, it’s a gateway to both exclusive-ize and monetize your effort or anything. Just try providing value in the process.
It’s a creative person paradise.
I read a tweet that said, “most people i know gain like 20 iq when advising their friends lives and lose 20 iq when doing strategy for their own lives” … I guess I should take my own advice ಥ‿ಥ
